What Does 2024 Have In Store For The Bushey And Edgware Property Market?

Christmas is over, the decorations have been stored away for another year (hopefully by now!) and we well into the new year of 2024.

At Benjamin Stevens we thought we would give you an insight for what is in store for the Edgware and Bushey property market this year.

Mortgage rates have levelled off under the 5% mark and there are lots of deals to be done out there for fixed term mortgages for both first-time buyers and movers.

House prices have stabilised and we have seen a 0.5% rise in house prices in December, so 2024 is looking promising, particularly as seasonal trends dictate that many people come to the market in January having spent the festive season at home. Could be they need more space to get away from the kids or they want to downsize to stop the in-laws from staying over again!

December saw the first Benjamin Stevens Auction on 12th and the excitement was incredible for both buyers and vendors who watched the 20 lots go to auction with fantastic results for both.
